  1. Dead Heat Rules

9.A A dead heat is defined as an event in which two outcomes or participants finish exactly even.

9.B In the case of a dead heat, the winnings made and losses incurred by Players are split according to the number of competitors. The formula for this, along with relevant examples, are given below:

Example #1 (all calculations should use decimal odds):

  1. You wager $100 on a golfer to place Top 5 in the tournament at +500 (6.0) odds
  2. The event ends with three golfers tying for 5th in the tournament
  3. 0 (original odds) ÷ 3 (number of participants who tied) = 2.0 (DHR decimal odds)
  4. $50 x 2.0 = $100.00 payout

Example #2 (all calculations should use decimal odds):

  1. You wager $200 on a golfer to win his 72-hole tournament group at +250 (3.5) odds.
  2. The event ends with two golfers tying for first place in the group
  3. 5 (original odds) ÷ 2 (number of participants who tied) = 1.75 (DHR decimal odds)
  4. $200 x 1.75 = $350 payout

The foregoing examples are not meant to be exclusive.

  1. Fighting (Boxing / Mixed Martial Arts)

Boxing

6.A  All bets are placed in accordance with Prophet Exchange’s Rules and Terms and Conditions.

6.B Dates and start times of games shown on our website are for guidance purposes only.

6.C If the fight does not take place as scheduled and is not played on the original date (local time), all bets are void. Exceptions include if we advertise an incorrect start time or if Prophet Exchange publishes a fight before the official date is known.

6.D All bets will be settled on the official result announced at the end of the fight. Subsequent appeals or amendments do not affect settlement, except in the event of human error when announcing the result.

6.E In declaration of a “No Contest” or “Technical Draw”, all bets will be void and wagers will be refunded, with the exception of markets where the outcome has already been determined.

6.F Moneyline bets will be valid regardless of changes to the number of rounds to be fought. Draws will be voided unless for markets offered as 3-Way moneyline bets.

6.G If the number of rounds in a fight is changed, bets already placed will be void and funds will be returned. When a half round is offered, then one (1) minute and thirty (30) seconds of the given round will define the half to determine the over or under result. For example, over one hundred (100) seconds into the 8th Round of a boxing fight will equal over seven and one half (7.5) rounds.

6.H All settlements are based on the statistics and results provided by the official website of the competition’s governing body. For boxing, www.boxrec.com is used.

Mixed Martial Arts

6.I If the fight does not take place as scheduled and is not played on the original date (local time), all bets are void. Exceptions include if Prophet Exchange advertises an incorrect start time or if Prophet Exchange publishes a fight before the official date is known.

6.J All bets will be settled on the official result announced at the end of the fight. Subsequent appeals or amendments do not affect settlement, except in the event of human error when announcing the result.

6.K If a fighter withdraws or the referee stops the fight between rounds, the fight will be deemed to have finished in the previous round.

6.L If either fighter is replaced or the number of rounds in a fight changes, all bets will be void.

6.M For bets on the total rounds, where a half round is offered, then two (2) minutes and thirty (30) seconds of the respective round will define the half to determine under or over. For example: Over two (2) minutes and thirty (30) seconds into the 3rd Round will equal Over two and one half (2.5) rounds. If the fight ends at exactly two (2) minutes thirty (30) seconds of the round, bets will be voided.

6.N All settlements are based on the statistics and results provided by the official website of the competition’s governing body. For boxing, www.ufc.com is used.
