Example #1 (all calculations should use decimal odds):

  1. You play 100 Prophet Coins  on a golfer to place Top 5 in the tournament at +500 (6.0) odds
  2. The event ends with three golfers tying for 5th in the tournament
  3. 6.0 (original odds) ÷ 3 (number of participants who tied) = 2.0 (DHR decimal odds)
  4. 50 Prophet Coins  x 2.0 = 100 Prophet Coins  payout

Example #2 (all calculations should use decimal odds):

  1. You play 200 Prophet Cash  on a golfer to win his 72-hole tournament group at +250 (3.5) odds.
  2. The event ends with two golfers tying for first place in the group
  3. 3.5 (original odds) ÷ 2 (number of participants who tied) = 1.75 (DHR decimal odds)
  4. 200 Prophet Cash  x 1.75 = 350 Prophet Cash  payout

The foregoing examples are not meant to be exclusive.

Where official timings are not available, we will use all available information to determine an accurate time for the end of such event.

We reserve the right to void play where a Player has obtained an unfair advantage by placing play after an event has occurred in a match or game (for example, by placing play immediately after a goal is scored in order to take advantage of the price as it was before the goal). ProphetX has the right to suspend or block a Player’s account when the Player places play after an event has occurred in a match or game, causing the Player to have an unfair advantage.
10.D For the purposes of placing an ‘In-Play’ Offer, you acknowledge that Prophet will endeavor to make your Offer available as soon as reasonably practicable on the Service but that there may be a delay or failure to make such Offer available on the Service, including because of a delay caused by a third party Application Programming Interface (“API”).

If the scheduled venue is changed after a play is placed, all plays will be void.

9.D Settlement

Plays will be settled on the result at the time of the podium presentation regardless of any subsequent disqualifications. Should the information required for the settling of the offer be missing/not shown and/or incomplete, the first official information on the official site will be deemed binding, regardless of subsequent promotions, demotions, appeals and/or penalties inflicted after the termination of the session/race which the play refers to. For settlement purposes, a driver/rider who has taken part in an officially-sanctioned practice or qualification session is considered to have taken part in the event, regardless of his eventual participation in the actual race.

Plays on the Formula One Championship and Constructors Championship will be settled in line with the official FIA results immediately following the podium presentation of the final race of the season, with subsequent disqualifications disregarded. The drivers and constructors championship titles are awarded to the driver and constructor who score the most points over the course of the season. In the case of a dead heat for a championship place, then the driver or constructor with the higher number of superior race results will be awarded the place. Leader after the first lap, for Settlement purposes the winner is deemed to the driver leading the race as they cross the start/finish line after one classified lap (warm up lap not included). 9.E “Head to Head” Market

Plays referring to specific teams’ performance during the race require the initially stated number of vehicles from each team to start the race for plays to stand, otherwise they will be declared void (For Example: in Formula 1, two cars from each team should start the race).

10. Cricket Rules

10.A All plays are placed in accordance with ProphetX’s Rules and Terms and Conditions.

10.B Settlement

10.B.1 All tournament and match markets will be settled on the basis of the official tournament results/match scorecards which are included on the ICC’s official website. If there is no result available, then the website www.cricinfo.com will be used for settlement purposes.

10.B.2 A batsman that retires from an innings will not be considered as a wicket for settlement purposes.

10.B.3 The term "innings reaching its natural conclusion" refers to an innings which has not been closed due to external factors such as rain or bad light. A team being bowled out or declaring is considered to constitute the natural conclusion of an innings.

10.B.4 If the concussion rule is activated while a player is batting, all markets relating to that player will be settled based on that player being 'retired hurt'. If the concussion rule is activated prior to that player batting or bowling, they will be void from relevant markets.

10.B.5 If a match is ended through external factors and there is no further play, plays placed on any-in play market once play has been officially ended will be void (except plays placed on the full match).

10.B.6 If a match is canceled before any play has taken place, then all plays will be void, unless the match is replayed within 48 hours of its advertised start time, and thus, the play will stand.

For this market, “extras” and “penalty runs”, per match scorecards, are included for settlement purposes only. Plays will be void if the over is not completed unless a result has already been determined or the over has reached its ‘natural conclusion’ (e.g. innings end/declaration). The market refers only to the listed over (e.g. “4th over” refers to over number 4).

10.D “Total Runs Delivery Over/Under” Markets

For this market, “extras” (but not “penalty runs”) as per match scorecard are included for settlement purposes only. Deliveries are counted from the start of the over, and additional deliveries (resulting from ‘extras’) will be counted consecutively and separately (e.g. If delivery 2 is a wide, the next ball is considered delivery 3).

10.E “Total Boundy Delivery Over” Markets

For this market, any instance of the ball striking or clearing the boundary regardless of whether the ball comes off the bat shall be deemed a boundary. This includes wides, byes, leg byes & overthrows (e.g. any instance of an in play ball that hits or clears the boundary shall be settled as yes for that over). 4 runs that are “all run” between the wicket shall not be counted as a boundary. Plays will be void if the over is not completed unless a result has already been determined or the over has reached its ‘natural conclusion’ (e.g. innings end, declaration). The market refers only to the listed over.

10.F “Total Wicket Over/Under” Markets

For this market, the play will be settled based on the total number of wickets lost in the session (regardless of which team loses them).
